I am a PhD student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the Information and Computer Science department. Dr. Lim supervises my PhD research since 2011. My research focuses lie in the data management area and includes database query optimization, energy-efficient mobile sensing.
I obtained my Master's degree in Computer Science in 2011 from Northeastern University, China. My Master's research focused on data compression, especially on large amount of time series data compression. My Master's advisor is Dr. Yang.
Currently I work at Herbarium in Botany Department as a research assistant. I am working on creating various web applications, Manage large-scale database design, development, security and implementation. I use MySQL, PHP, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML, and CSS a lot.
